We have virgin-quality fishing mainly due to our very progressive catch and release fishing policies that keep the fish in the lake and the fact that we limit the bookings of our outposts to only six weeks per year even though our season runs for 14 weeks. The limited fishing pressure means incredible pike, walleye and brook trout fishing. Our fly in outpost cabins have excellent equipment and we keep cleaned, well stocked outpost camps. Horwood Lake Lodge Horwood Lake Lodge is situated on the north-west shore of Hardiman Bay, Horwood Lake, and has easy road access. Most of the eight guest cabins are nestled at the waters edge, with private docking and a gradually sloped sand beach. One hundred and ten miles of irregular shoreline and 13,500 acres of water offers a great variety of opportunity for the sportsman or naturalist. Horwood Lake is well known for its trophy Walleyes and Northerns. Being a deep lake, it offers excellent fishing all through the season.
