banks of Olive Lake in Marten River, Ontario . Okimot Lodge Come to the peaceful shores of Tomiko Lake where Okimot Lodge was established 50 years ago. We are located 40 miles north west of North Bay with good roads all the way. Tomiko is a good sized lake with an average depth of 30 feet and fishing is great for walleye and smallmouth especially in the spring and late fall. Our "hassle free" 14' aluminum boats with up to date Johnson motors and padded swivel seats will also take you to two adjoining lakes. One is sheltered and provides excellent fishing for largemouth in the weed beds; nearby Smokey Creek offers anglers a chance at speckled trout. Camp Horizon Camp Horizon is year round vacation camp located on Lake Muskosung, just 40 miles Northwest of North Bay. Camp Horizon offers clean, comfortable fully equipped housekeeping cottages, as well as package plans including home cooked meals in our lodge dining room. Fresh baked bread and home-made baking are available daily. Within a short drive of the camp are many things to do and see from cruises on Lake Nipissing to snowmobiling on beautiful groomed trails. Island Lake Camp As you leave Hwy. 64 and travel 3½ miles to the end of the road, you will begin a truly northern experience. When you arrive you will find 8 well appointed, pine decorated cottages encircling a quiet bay Island Lake (Thistle Lake), part of the Temagami Waterway System. After you have settled in, let us take you on a tour of beautiful Island Lake. We will point out the best fishing spots and recommend tackle and technique. Secluded sandy beaches, waterfalls and our own hidden bay will beckon you. Back at camp, relax at the water's edge and view the glorious sunsets from your screened-in porch. From mid May to mid October, our guests enjoy some of the finest fishing and hunting Northern Ontario can offer. A wide variety of fish are available in these waters...Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Whitefish and Perch. There is abundant game in our surrounding forest...Bear, Moose, Ruffed Grouse and Ducks. We offer completely guided Moose Hunts, as well as Fall Bear Hunts. Lake Herridge Lodge A mere 54 miles north of North Bay is Lake Herridge Lodge, a fishing and hunting camp set in the scenic tranquillity of the Temagami Wilderness Forest. The Temagami area has long been known for it's bountiful crystal clear waters. Aside from the main lake, Herridge Lake, our fishing opportunities extend to many remote and back lakes which offer a multitude of fishing options. There are 5 back lakes which can be reached by a short portage; each is equipped with boats and motors, so all you bring is your personal gear. A new feature we offer is a guided trip to area lakes accessible by truck from our camp. Our waters abound with Walleye (Yellow Pickerel), Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike. Temagami Riverside Lodge Marsh Bay Resort Marsh Bay Resort is a quiet family style camp nestled on the shores of the Montreal River, just off Hwy. # 11. It has been owned and operated by the O'Brien family since 1976. Open year round, our services include Cottages, Camping, Trailer Sites, Boats & Motors, Fishing, Hunting and Snowmobiling. The Montreal River is a calm body of water and is one of the main tributaries of the Ottawa River System.. Our water system is home to Walleye, Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Perch, and Rock Bass. Water depths vary from five to seventy feet, offering a good variety of structure to fish. Pike season is open all year, walleye late May, and smallmouth late June. Trophy - size fish are caught but are not common. We encourage our guests to release the bigger fish and to keep eating size. Guests can bring their own boat or rent from the camp. Bait, tackle, and licenses are available on site. We have three dock locations, so your boat is never far from your cottage or campsite. A fish cleaning station and free freezing are supplied. Pozniaks Lodge Our cottages are located on the beautiful Marten River, which provides good fishing, and excellent canoeing. We have 18' Geisler cedar strip boats and 9.9 H.P.motors. Our fishing is good and Red Cedar Lake is noted for it's pickerel (walleye), and northern pike fishing, although it also produces fairly good catches of small mouth bass and perch. Guides are available, please arrange in advance. Smoking your fish is complimentary upon request. Pozniak's spacious, private cottages are fully equipped rustic log cabins, with three piece bathrooms, and one to four bedrooms. We have a fully licensed lounge. Whether you're on American Plan or just want a day off from cooking, our home cooked meals are sure to please your palate.
