Frontier Lodge At Frontier Lodge our aim is to help you create a memory that will last a lifetime, whether it be a family vacation, hunting or fishing holiday, sledding, ice fishing or just a couple of days to get away and relax. Open year round, we are nestled in the midst of pristine wilderness, 31 miles north-east of Elliot Lake or 50 miles north of Iron Bridge, on the east end of Mount and McElrea Lakes. Our scenery is spectacular, the lakes are crystal clear and the rugged hillsides are breathtaking. Our Main Lodge is a cozy meeting place with licensed lounge and dining room and is wheel chair accessible. Several years ago we were persuaded to publish a cookbook due to the increased demand for our gourmet recipes. Frontier Lodge is pleased to offer clean, bright, modern accommodations in your choice of 1-2-3 bedroom cottages. All cottages are facing the beachfront overlooking beautiful McElrea Lake. They are completely equipped for housekeeping: pots, pans, dishes, refrigerator, 4 burner gas stove with oven, 3 piece bath (showers). All bed linens included. Several of our cottages are wheel chair accessible. Lang Lake Resort Come Explore the natural beauty of Lang lake resort. Summer or winter we have something for everybody. Our lakeside cabins feature all furnishings and beds with linens, blankets and pillows supplied. Bathrooms are fully modern with hot and cold running water year_round and a full kitchen. Some cabins have indoor fire places and all have a personal dock. Our resort offers both housekeeping or American plan. You can fish our main lake system for trout, walleye, pike, small and largemouth bass. For the more adventurous fisherman, our resort offers quiet back-lake retreats, where northern pike and largemouth bass never seem to stop biting. We have many summer activities such as hiking, swimming and snorkelling in the sparkling-clean water of Lang Lake or relaxing in the hot tub and in the winter you can enjoy snowmobiling ice fishing and lots more. Bring your camera to capture this area's natural beauty. Louies Outposts and Timber Wolf Air You want monster pike? We've got 'em, along with lake trout, whitefish and walleye. Drive to our base camp on Lake of the Mountains (Lake Duborne). Drive, then boat to our outposts on Rocky Island Lake. Fly-in to our remote outposts on Bark Lake and Marty Lake for excellent pike and lake trout fishing. Whether you want to relax with your family in a fully-equipped cabin at our base camp, or go on a real adventure to a remote northern lake, we have the right trip for you at Louie's Outposts. Our bear hunts are second to none, whether Fly-In, Boat-In, or Drive-In. Our exclusive hunting areas and the fact that some of these areas are newly opened, lead to excellent chances for record bear. Mountain View Camp Mountain View Camp is located on lake of the Mountains or Lake Duborne as it is locally known. Come and enjoy fishing, hiking, hunting or just sit back and relax while watching the beautiful sunsets. You can fish here for Northern Pike, Perch, Bass, Walleye, Trout or fish on any of the other numerous lakes that are in the area. Guides are available upon request. In the winter enjoy Cross Country Skiing, Ice Fishing and Snowshoeing. Bear Hunts, Fall - All our bear hunts are baited weeks in advance. We are specialists in this field with years of experience and have a good success rate of bear taken with bow or gun. Moose hunts available with allocation tags for non resident hunters. Winter Wolf Hunts, Deer Hunts, With gun or Bow We have six lake view cabins each with 2 bedrooms and 2 or 3 piece bath. All have running water, stove, fridge, cooking utensils and table service. For those cool nights or electric heat will keep you warm. Things to bring: bedding, bath and dish towels. Birch Lodge A pleasant welcome awaits you at Birch Lodge as you come and enjoy the seasons and relax on the peaceful shores of Granary Lake (Magog Lake)! We are located in the Canadian Northeast, between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie, just fifteen kilometres north of Blind River. An all season lodge, with 3 private cottages, and 16 RV hookups, on beautiful Granary Lake, sandy beach, swimming, canoeing, hiking, superb fishing, gather around a camp fire in the evening, relax and watch the Northern Lights, enjoy our fish frys and pig roasts, in season. We also have ATV and skidoo rentals available. Our beautiful white winters offer ice-fishing, snow shoeing and cross-country skiing as well some of Northern Ontario's greatest snowmobiling trails. Birch Lodge is proud to offer clean and bright housekeeping accommodations, each overlooking beautiful Granary Lake. They are fully equipped with electricity, hot water and three (3)-piece bathrooms, fridge, four (4)-burner stoves with oven, along with wood-burning stoves for heat (wood provided). Brennan Harbour Resort Fish the Whalesback Channel and its many islands for great northern pike and small-mouth bass action. One mile east of camp is the Spanish River and its famous walleye fishery. A mile to the south of the camp, the Whalesback empties into the North Channel where deep, clear blue waters hold perch, lake trout and salmon. Or, why not head inland to numerous smaller, secluded back lakes where we have boats cached for multi-species angling. Fish in comfort and style in our 16 foot deep and wide aluminum boats. All vessels come equipped with flat carpeted floors, swivel boat seats, life jackets, oars, anchors, and nets. The power is provided by new, dependable 20 hp outboards. All of our cottages were newly built in 1997. They are fully equipped and modern, each with its own private lake front deck with a spectacular view of the islands. Inside, you'll enjoy full baths with hot and cold water, full-sized fridge's and stoves and all cooking utensils. All units have electric heat and are fully insulated for those chilly nights. All bedding and linen is provided, however, we request that you bring your own towels. Our main centre beach is a natural clean sand beach, flanked by rock outcroppings. It is private, off to the side of the resort, offering seclusion. The west beach is ideal for walking, driftwood gathering and bird watching Blue Heron Resort Fishing at Blue Heron Resort is a favourite activity, but it is also a great place for bird watchers, nature lovers, and photographers. Enjoy this family fishing resort offering Modern Cottages, Camping, and RV sites. Housekeeping and Meal Plans are available. Fun for the entire family. We have horse shoe pits, children's playground, mini-putt, and T.V. / reading lounge. Fishing the Spanish River or the North Channel of Lake Huron offers anglers a wide variety of fishing action and beautiful scenery. Mountain View Hunting & Fishing Lodge Nepewassi Lake is 16 miles long and well known for its quality & variety of fish. Pickerel (walleye), large & small mouth bass, muskie, tiger muskie, northern pike, perch and burbot. While fishing you will enjoy the beautiful shoreline of tall pines, white birch & colorful maples surrounding the majestic rock formations, and of course the beaver dams. You may even see a moose, or a bear or a deer swimming across the lake, making a camera a must. We offer small game hunting as well as big game hunting. Rogers Bear Den Previously established by the God Father of Bears, who brought many successful years of hunting to the area, Roger's Bear Den Lodge is your location for the hunt of a lifetime. On our behalf we guarantee every hunter with 2 to 3 active baits, and 90% shooting opportunities (depending on the hunter). 300 square miles of baiting land. We occupy over 250 active baits. Four cabins which house up to six people are equipped with cooking and refrigeration facilities. Boats and motors are available for those looking to take in a little fishing, or to tour the beautiful lakes and scenery surrounding the lodge. We also provide hot meals and drinks upon request. With some of Canada's finest fishing for Walleye, large Northern Pike, Jumbo Perch and White Fish you will enjoy catching your limit easily at any time in the season. After a successful day of fishing, enjoy our beautiful beach, basketball or sauna. We have 14-foot aluminum Sea Nymph and Naden boats, which are ideal for this lake. You can bring your own motor (motors between 8HP-15 HP are recommended) or rent one from us. We offer new 9.9 Johnson outboards. Your boat will be conveniently beached near the cabin ready to go in the morning. |
