Argyle Lake Lodge Truly a remote wilderness location, Argyle Lake Lodge is set in the James Bay Frontier Bush. Miles from our nearest neighbour, we are the only tourist camp on a series of four lakes. We offer an excellent atmosphere for family vacations. Hunt for moose, bear and grouse, fish for northern pike, walleye, bass, and perch, and explore infinite hiking, ATV and canoeing possibilities, or just relax on our natural sandy beach. There are several trails that loop back to the lodge for great ATV adventures. You can also explore an old abandoned gold mine in the area. All cottages at Argyle Lake Lodge come fully equipped with modern appliances, hot and cold water, showers and electric lights. Cooking utensils, dishes, blankets and pillows are supplied. Boats and motors and canoes are available on a rental basis. Live bait, gas, oil, fishing and hunting licenses can all be purchased on location. Enjoy great fishing and hunting, or just rest and relax. Duncan Lake is 17 miles long and is part of the headwaters of the Montreal River. It has over 200 miles of shoreline and more than 50 islands. Trails and learning tools at your doorstep. Salt lick and bear feeding stations to enhance your photographic opportunity. Gowganda Lake Camp The camp is found along the north shore of Gowganda Lake. It is one of Northeastern Ontario's most productive lakes for walleye and smallmouth bass. The Northeastern Ontario Bass Association (NEOAB) opens their yearly tournament circuit on this lake. The camp has 12 housekeeping cottages. They have fully equipped kitchens, private 4 piece baths and at least 2 bedrooms. The majority sleep up to 6 people in them. The more deluxe units come with T.V., microwave and patio doors out on to their deck. They are also carpeted for those that are looking for the comforts of home. On the camp premises can be found a Laundromat, an extra shower house, and a general store. The store carries a wide variety of items from snack foods to meats and vegetables, tackle to live bait and a wide selection of souvenirs. Fishing and hunting licenses, gas, ice, beer and liquor are also available there. Baywolf Camp Llocated in the hamlet of Shining Tree, half way between Sudbury and Timmins. Our modern, well equipped cottages bring people to our doors year round. We offer complete Fishing Packages with boats on ten lakes. Our Bear Hunts, which begin in August, attract attention from many parts of North America. In winter, we are a warm haven for snowmobilers traveling the 'TOP C' Trail. For day trips, we are less than an hour's drive from Elk Lake, Gowganda and Gogama. We now offer fishing on ten lakes. Our guests can literally fish a different lake each day of the week with the choice of fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout, Perch and Whitefish. All lakes in this area are on public land, and it is not uncommon to fish all day without seeing another boat. Lookout Point Camp Welcome to one of Northeastern Ontario's most productive lakes. Fish Gowganda Lake for walleye, smallmouth bass, pike, perch, and whitefish, or for the more adventuresome angler, try one of our many back lakes. Gowganda and its surrounding area has much to offer, some of which are hunting for moose, waterfowl, and smallgame, riding on one of our ATV trails, berry picking, exploring old mine sites, canoeing along Gowganda Lake's 35 miles of shoreline, and a family vacation which could include lounging on a clean, sandy beach, taking a swim, or enjoying a game of beach volleyball. Lookout Point Camp has 4 pine waterfront cabins, ranging from a 2 bedroom which sleeps 4, to a 6 bedroom which sleeps 12. housekeeping cottages are available. All cooking/eating utensils and bedding are supplied.

Twin Bear Camp Resort Twin Bear Camp Resort is a small family run semi-remote lodge dedicated to filling all of your holiday, fishing and hunting needs. We are the only camp for an 18 mile stretch on down the scenic Montreal River with two connecting lakes and some back lakes. We offer a Varity of services starting with fishing whether it be Bass, Walleye, northern Pike ,or Jumbo perch our lake has them all. There are also many trout lakes in the area that can be accessed through driving or portage. For the Bear hunter we offer both housekeeping or American plans we have a bear area that is very secluded and yields a great amount of black bear that very in size. We cater to both Bow and rifle hunters and plan our hunts to suit your needs. At Twin j we also have bird and moose hunting in the area as well as most water fowl. For those that like to be alone in the wilderness we have a remote outpost camp that has all the comforts of home except for people so you can truly experience nature at it's best. Long Point Lodge Within the perimeters of the camp your time can be spent swimming on our sandy beach, canoeing and water-skiing. Hiking in the woods can provide hours of fun with activities such as rock hunting, and picking wild blueberries and raspberries. Additional activities around the camp include volleyball, horseshoes, badminton and a children's playground. Inside, there's a recreation hall with a T.V., pool table, shuffleboard and ping pong. Of course the main activities are fishing and hunting. There's a wide variety of fish species to choose from including Walleye (pickerel), Northern Pike, Perch, Whitefish, Bass, Lake and Speckled Trout. You can rent one of our boats or bring your own and enjoy endless hours of fishing pleasure. Once you've caught your fill, clean them in our fully equipped fish cleaning house and freeze them for the trip home in our freezers. If you're new to the area there's a guide service available to help you locate the hot spots for fishing. For the real enthusiast a fly-in service is also available. |
